This build showcases my Essentials of real-time 2D.  I prototyped with 2D object manipulation, I move sprites around, changed their color, and gave them rigidbody 2D and colliders, etc. I used a Candies Sprite Pack and a Tower 2D Sprite pack from the Unity Asset Store:
